INDIA COUTURE WEEK 2017

The tenth anniversary of India Couture Week 2017 was recently celebrated and its grand finale was put up in style as designer Manish Malhotra and his young muses Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh graced the runway with their presence. Manish who has been a part of the FDCI India Couture Week for the past seven years, tried to break away from his evergreen theme “quintessential bridal” and came out with his new collection “Sensual Affair”.

The grand opening of the show was done by Anamika Khanna and Rohit Bal whereas, Rina Dhaka showcased her collection on the 7^th day. Actress Huma Qureshi was her showstopper. Being understated, Dhaka’s collection made quite a statement. Shilpa Shetty set the ramp on fire in her pretty red and gold outfit by designer Monisha Jaisingh.

Athiya Shetty looked every bit a diva in the stunning gold and blue lehenga by designers Shymal and Bhumika who made their debut this year. Disha Patani graced the ramp by showcasing the bold black lehenga by designer Manav Gangwani. Designer Anita Dongre with her collection brought ‘khejri’ trees to life. Various other designers showed us a glimpse of their splendid designs.
