FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

It is always fun working with new models and this is the most exciting part when you are a fashion photographer. But it is extremely important for a photographer to be professional when he/she is on shoot. Some of the tips are given below in order to guide you while working with models.

1.       Directions to your studio should be precise and clear. Make sure the directions you give are not vague which may lead to further complications.

2.       Ensure that there are make-up and hair artists available on the set for models.

3.       Make sure to give proper breaks to the models during the shoot. Arrange for refreshments if the shoot is going to last all day long.

4.       The direction of the shoot and the story must be clearly discussed with the models before they start with the shoot. For instance, if revealing clothes are involved, then it is advisable to discuss it with your model as they won’t like surprises as far as this matter is concerned. Their comfort should be your priority.

5.       Music must be provided as well at the location or studio.
